Jack Frost / Big Boulder Ski Areas
Nestled in the Pocono Mountains just a few hours from New York City and only an hour or so from Philly, the mountains of Jack Frost and Big Boulder compliment one another nicely and offer guests two discount experiences on the same lift ticket. Between the 2 slopes, guests have access to 35 trails, epic terrain parks, and 22 lifts. Big Boulder is known for having one of the longest ski seasons in the Poconos, with 50 % of terrain dedicated to park features.

Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain
Ski Big Bear is a family friendly mountain and great for beginners. The mountain is open to the public and Masthope owners in good standing are granted unlimited access to the mountain. Guests of owners receive a 25% discount on lift tickets as well. The mountain offers a 650’ vertical drop, 18 trails and 7 lifts. Big Bear has an expanded terrain park, a snow sports school, and also offers snow tubing. Big Bear is continuously making improvements to their amenities and snowmaking system, which is able to provide snow on all trails. Arctic Paws Dog Sled Tours
Learn to mush a team of Huskies on a groomed trail and participate in the entire adventure. This is not a ride, it's a learning experience and adventure of a lifetime! Arctic Paws operates out of the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort on Saturdays and Sundays in winter. Tours are all "no snow" until sufficient snow arrives. Tours become snow tours once the trail is covered with more than six inches of snow. Reservations are required and made online only. Payment the day of the tour is by cash only.

White Lightning Snowtubing
Experience the thrill of snow tubing in the Poconos! When the temperatures drop, the excitement grows at White Lightning Snow Tubing. Watch Eagles Fly - Delaware Highlands Conservancy
Bald eagles are one of the world’s most beautiful and mysterious creatures, and you have the chance to see them in their natural habitat. The Delaware Highlands Conservancy is a non-profit organization based in Hawley, dedicated to land & wildlife protection and conservation. Usually held in January and February, the eagle-watching tours transport visitors on a heated bus to some of the area’s most popular viewing locations. Trained guides also provide in-depth information and answer any questions you may have throughout the tour.
